Ranking Arizona: Top 10 Mexican restaurants for 2023
Ahead of National Taco Day (October 4), Yelp is releasing their annual Top 100 Taco Spots in the U.S. collection so you can get your taco fix. This year, two Phoenix restaurants and two Tucson restaurants made the list of the Top 100!
Here are the Arizona taco restaurants that rank in the Top 100 in the U.S.:
La Chaiteria in Tucson ranked No. 48.
El Rustico in Tucson ranked No. 74.
143 Street Tacos in Sierra Vista ranked No. 79.
El Fogon in Phoenix ranked No. 86.
Taco Culture Taco Shop in Phoenix ranked No. 93.
Along with this collection, Yelp is releasing a map showcasing the Top 15 Taco Towns across the U.S. and Phoenix and Tucson are both listed in the top 5.
Methodology: Yelp has compiled an all-time list of the top 100 taco spots in the U.S., according to Yelp. Yelp identified businesses in the restaurants and tacos categories then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. If a chain appeared on the list more than once, Yelp only included the highest rated location. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of July 24, 2023.
